Looks like it's due in a couple of days, but it will be a fileplanet exclusive.

http://community.enemyterritory.com/?q=node/57

As you're reading this, the beta is being released to a very limited number of select FilePlanet subscribers - we're calling this the sneak peek phase.

If the sneak peek goes well and no catastrophic issues crop up, we will move on to the actual key distribution phase.

During the first three days of this process, keys will be available to FilePlanet subscribers only. This will be followed by two days of keys for anyone with a free FilePlanet account.

The best part, and I've been waiting five paragraphs to say this, is that Day 1 of key distribution is currently scheduled for the middle of this week. That's right, the first batch of keys for the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta will go out in just a few days! FilePlanet's ETQW sub-site will be going up that same day.

If you're as keen as me your best bet would be a one month subscription to fileplanet, for US$6.99.

Of course, a multiplayer beta is useless if there are no servers to play on. Towards that end, we've been working closely with a select number of Game Server Providers to get servers for the Public Beta up in North America, Europe, and Australia.

I have no idea what to really say other than exclusive crap like Fileplanet releases are f***ing retarded and piss me off almost more than hearing Bush say "you're either with us or with the enemy".

It rocks pretty hard, naturally it plays a lot like the first ET but with vehicles and more to do. Seems very well balanced so far and I like the game speed. You can get around nice and fast, especially if you hop in an Icarus jetpack or a Quadbike.

My only complaints are the vehicle physics feel a bit light and I don't like a lot of the tinny sounds. The Strogg voices are super lamo too.
But on the whole, the game does not feel like a beta. It feels finished and I have no doubt it will be out real soon.

I will be buying it for sure

This sounds like it will suck about as much as doom3. Prepare to be buried by halo3 qw.

And I hope you changed a few cvars dais because if you didn't then you were getting all the frames per second you will ever need.

Well considering how big of a dump ET takes on Halo 1 & 2, I doubt Halo 3 will hold a candle to ET:QW.

Just for the record I was referring to sales and not game quality.
