i just did a quick count - i have 76 backgrounds that i will actually use, 13 boot screens, 45 logins, 19 visual styles.

that all comes to 200mb. one day im sure i will have used everything for at least a day :)

yo tox and whoever else wants to know how to make the icon bar

1.) Create a new folder on your hard drive titled "My Toolbar" which will be used to house your icons.

2.) Unlock the taskbar.

3.) Create a new toolbar on the main taskbar utilizing the folder you created in Step 1 above.

4.) Add any icons you would like use to the toolbar by either dragging them inside the toolbar, or placing them within the "My Toolbar" folder on your hard drive..

5.) Left click inside the toolbar area, (not on an icon), and hold the button down while dragging the toolbar out onto the desktop and to the top of the screen and let go of the button.

6.) Right click on the toolbar, (not on an icon), and using the right click context menu, turn off the toolbar title text and set the icon view to large.

My other desktop Config (no weather/TV)...

Nice and tidy if you remove winamp from the equation there.

well I assume most people here just want a quick method to post a small version of their picture and this does it, true it doesn't resize it, if you want resized and smaller file size then yeah u gotta have 2 pictures. Only the real tight asses would worry about image sizes anyway, I mean come on, I'm on dialup and I don't care, if you're on telstra then don't come into the thread if you think there may be large images to put you over the limit if you're near it. Else do like me, and get a better ISP, yes, in my view dialup is better than telstra cable.

it looks exactly the same but with a calandar on it jigster.

(might take a while to load cos i upped it to a slow host and used pain to make it, quick)

After realising how crappy my desktop looks, I decided I would try making my own skin.

I've always loved the Colin Mcrae Rally 2 interface, so I mimicked the colour scheme and the simplicity from it.

I did all the artwork myself except for those clicky head thingies from princess mononoke. Dunno why I put em, theyre just cute, so I thought why the hell not.
