Well, what a year it's been!

July 2005 marks the first whole year of SwitchLAN events run by my admin team and myself. (We had an event 7 months before this, but we dont really count it for reasons which are unlikely to become clear any time soon.)

We'll be marking this momentus occasion with an equally massive LAN. An even bigger LAN than the one we held in April, which maxed out the capacity of our current venue.

We'll be inviting along other Brisbane LAN groups and we'll be opening up several other rooms on site to accomodate them. We've received an overwhelming response already with sizable groups from GGF and AvGL already signed up to attend.

Only 4 more days until the big one. We've got groups coming from as far away as the sunshine coast, so it should definately be a good day. Don't be fooled by the low registration numbers on ausevents, most of our attendees find that system frustrating and flat-out refuse to use it.

If you attend only one LAN this year, make it this one!
