We need to know how many votes there have been...

Also, I voted ok, and the results looked ok, but now that I've gone back to the site, I can't see the poll anymore.

PS: You might consider re-doing the favicon.gif to match the new design.

One gripe is that the 'Discuss this poll' link is gone after voting. So I went to reload the page to click on it (thinking I may see it) and the poll disappeared :)

theres a reason they never have a console and pc able to connect to the same servers for their online games and it isnt because they cant write the protocol to work with both... Keyboard is king and consoles are for fags

heh, at first i saw the poll n voted nps but never saw the results. checked again just now & can't see the poll, logged into ausgamers with my usual nick/pword & it says i gotta update my email address (was my old dem0n.qgl.org addy) coz it's old or something. change the email addy to the one i am using at work & it says i can't use that addy coz another account uses it & provides some bulls*** about using some other page to reset my password @(!#*$!*$!

anyways... sifn't pc :D

Yeah I have had a similar error for years.
My username has a banned word in it, and someone already has already taken fireblood? (WTF?! - Probably me, but still won't let me access)
So eh for ausgamers, i don't really use it anyway.

Of course PC is going to come out on top, i seriously doubt console gamers would know this site even existed :P

PC wins again! Take that console noobs who know nothing about computers or their own consoles!

And so much for 'better gaming' because games are better on PC, and look better, unless you have a old cruddy one like those console noobs.

For me it depends on the game. I prefer FPS & red alert style (what is that? RTS?) games on a PC but car racing or mortal combat type stuff would probably prefer to play on a console since I cbf spending megabux on some arcade stick for my PC and a steering wheel can be awkward to attach just for a quick bash where as an analog stick on a console is always plugged in and ready to be wiggled and waggled until the cows come home from shopping.

edit: f***ing old thread what? Make an auto lock after 6 months @%#^#$%WY(*@$&UTQ(#$& VT(%

Would be interesting to reset the poll and see how it turns out now that Ausgamers has a wider, more diverse audience a year onwards.

You cant see the poll if you are logged into the ausgamers. Also unrelated that god damn AMP qgl ad lags the s*** out of my firefox when it is doing that time warp thing or whatever.

Yeh same in IE, I think its a flash problem, the guy who made the animation needs a kick in the teeth. I'm considering doing something about it if it doesn't go away soon.

I like to support the Ausgamers but that thing is ridiculous.

I don't see the poll at all, I'm running upto date Firefox on Win7 RC, I can see the results of the pole by going to News > Poll, but can't vote.

I think www.qgl.org has the better poll. Its representative even to this day what the best games are.

I think that xbox 360 is the best platform, because i just generally dont like the ps3 controllers there too small and only a child can really play with them. With Pc they would be my second preference only because that you need to have a real high end computer to play any games with good FPS etc. and consoles do this easy.

According to the thread title this is a new poll. Yeah, it's from 2008, but in the scheme of the creation of the universe that is very very recent.
