A while back we reported that Activision had resubmitted Call of Duty: WWII for re-classification, where the only change seemed to have been the toning down of implied sexual assault. An Activision representative got in contact with us today to note that "The Australian version of Call of Duty: WWII is the same version scheduled for release worldwide on November 3." Which means no censorship for the sake of removing "sexual assault" from the current R18+ rating. Or, that the scene in question is now being being modified globally. In other Call of Duty: WWII news, the return of the classic multiplayer map Carentan is shaping up to be something quite special. But something that unfortunately is limited to those who purchase the Season Pass at launch. |
