Announced late last week, Nividia's latest Pascal GPU is set to hit the market just in time for the holiday season with the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti launching November 2. As per the notes, and we got to see versions of the card up close and personal at PAX, the 1070 Ti has also been designed with overclocking in mind. Which should make for interesting versions from the usual suspects like Gigabyte, ASUS, and MSI. In terms of performance Nvidia is stating that it's double that of the GeForce GTX 970. Perfect for GPU intensive titles like Destiny 2, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and Star Wars Battlefront II. Also, the 1070 Ti is very much a response to AMD's recent Vega line which seemed to have taken up a similar performance space. The 1070 Ti looks to offer better performance than the RX Vega 56 at a lower price. Local pre-orders for partner cards are up now at Mwave with three MSI variants and a Gigabyte version available. Prices range from $719 to $749 AUD. The Founders Edition is also expected to hit the Nvidia Australia store this week for $759 AUD. |

Have you guys seen this is AUD$585 for the founders edition on Nvidia's US site (US$450). Why is it AU$759 here? Is that $200 for postage?! Crikey! |

$759 for a card that is almost as good as a 1080? Why not just buy a 1080? You can get them for $700 - $750 now |

Well, currently got a 1070 and will be testing the 1070 ti on the same build... but from what we saw performance wise it's built for overclocking Really though prices of the 1070 and Vega 56 range in AU just feel too high in general |

Card prices are still being affected by demand, they haven't recovered since the increase in June yet. https://pcpartpicker.com/trends/price/video-card/ I was hoping they would of recovered by now. |
