Included in that record-high SIEGE prize-pool ($6000+ in cash and prizes) will be an Xbox 360 which will also be the featured machine in the 2v2 Console Comp. Major sponsor CommsLogic will be on-site to demonstrate their products and with special sign-up offers. And it would be wrong of me not to mention that they plan to bringing in the MeterMaids & some promo-girls to help give away the Xbox 360 as well as some great door prizes.

Other prize breakdowns are as follows:

Call of Duty 2 (5v5 SnD) 1st - $450, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $150
FarCry (5v5 Assault) 1st - $450, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $150
UT2004 (5v5 CTF) 1st - $450, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $150
Quake 4 (Duels) 1st - $90, 2nd - $60, 3rd - $30
Xbox 360 (2v2 Game Title TBA) 1st - $180, 2nd - $120, 3rd - $60

And for the first time ever SIEGE will feature a full double-elimination competition of Warcraft 3 (2v2) 1st - $360, 2nd - $240, 3rd - $120

There will be the usual slew of door-prizes up for grabs, and as mentioned in a previous post AMD have sent an Athlon64 4000+ CPU to be part of a near complete system that 1 lucky gamer will get to take home.

yeah they live together at groydis place. thus the odd times he post stuff under her account, though she never dies it under his because she is wise and always checks whose logged in.

Why is there no CSS competition? Lame..

To be honest, there's no CS:S because we don't have any admins that have an interest enough in the game to learn how to properly admin it. And we know that if we advertise a CS:S comp and then it flops that we'll have to deal with all the CS kiddies having a tanty.

So rather than deal with that we've decided to comp games that we're confident we can run well. Playing to our strengths you might say.

On a personal note, I find CS players to be the singularly most offensive LAN attendee's I have ever come across EVER. :)

i dont know about that wolfy, we had a cs clan at our lan today, they sat there patiently playing in there own server until the cs comp, then they systematically pwned everyone. and then they left quietly. these guys were all korean though.

They were probably all so quiet because they hadn't slept in 82 hours.
