Yeah, XB360 games have been upwards of $60USD new for a while, so this was to be expected.

haha really, that is so lame, especially for a first gen game.
Also, this is the best Xbox 360 game I've seen so far: Dead Rising |

Haha, Dead Rising looks surprisingly damn cool. Interesting to see capcom is supporting the console after having their hands in sony's pants for so long.

Yeh; its questionable as to its long term appeal, but it just looks hilarious. The variety of weapons plus a really good physics model looks like it will yield a bunch of entertaining zombie slaying scenes.

heh, I just watched that video clip - looks kinda funky, but I don't know if it would be interesting for longer than a few hours.
$60 US is around $80 AU so where does the other $40 go? ...and it's not shipping because shipping is bloody cheap these days. |

also, i think its mostly third party games that are the extra cost. i think MS published titles like PGR, perfect dark and kameo will be 99..not sure, havnt really checked, but I know in the US that MS published titles are the normal prices, while publishers like EA reckon they have the right to charge 10$ more.
meh. ppl are still gonna pay that much for them. so what can they do... |

i dont use it, i refer to it.
and because simply elder scroll games have proven to not hold my attention long enough if i cant figure out a puzzle in a couple of hours. id rather use a guidebook to help me overcome it and move on with the game so i can enjoys its awesome storyline. |

Shop around guys, EB's prices are a joke as per usual.
eg PGR3 - $75 at JB :: $99 @ EB COD2 - $82 at JB :: $109 @ EB & JB has advertised ghost recon for $89. Ofcourse the same pricing might not be with every store, the local JB sells all games at invoice cost (penrith, nsw) also dont forget a good bunch of games (cod2/condemned etc) are region free, so import them from ebay or liksang etc. my2c. |

The reported problems with elder scrolls on the 360 are draw in related though, so screenshots wouldnt show that.
