Been like it for most of the late arvo/night.
Some times it's fine. Great even... But then it dies. When it dies I can barely do anything. Takes ages to open any new page ping 800+ to GA servers... Already reset the Modem, twice. Anyone else having troubles? Or know what the cause might be? |

No issues whatsoever (Coorparoo). I'm sure whingepool will have people crying about it wherever you look though.

Telstra's always been dodgy depending on area, I've always been pretty lucky. Used to have it at my parents place at Carindale, rarely a problem, now have it over at Camp Hill and still never a problem.

Everytime the cable dies, I plug my old motorola back in, try and renew, then plug the new modem back in and it starts working again
Weird huh, give it a try if you still have your old modem.. |

Telstra's always been dodgy depending on area, I've always been pretty lucky. Used to have it at my parents place at Carindale, rarely a problem, now have it over at Camp Hill and still never a problem. when I had it years ago I had no troubles, the problem lies when other people join. It then puts more of a load on a certain area. During off peak times everything would be fine, but during peak times it'd cut out all over the place, turned out we had a low signal and it needed to be boosted. I'd say telstra needs to do a review of everyone's signal strength & probably boost a whole metric f***load of people's signals. |

We have problems all the time at mine. But the weirdest thing is that whenever we share the internet (XP), it automatically shuts off the bigpond connection. I don't understand why, as it used to work fine, and it just stopped. Is it something Telstra has done, because the same thing happens on two different server comps?
Any help would be appreciated. |
