EA Australia have sent through confirmation we'll be seeing the latest FIFA hit our shores this October 1st, sparking plenty of rabid fans to begin counting down the days (I assume).

What's more, the release date is for all systems, so no matter your platform of choice, you'll be playing FIFA 10 at the beginning of October, presumably with thousands upon thousands of other Aussies.

For more info on FIFA 10, check out our game page.

I assume they'll do the usual trick of making a World Cup version as well?

I'm more of a Football Manager fan myself.

Of course they will. And it won't be worth the money. Just stick with the annual versions - they had a return to form with 09 after a few cruddy years, so fingers crossed 10 is good.

The last fifa world cup game was solely responsible for me buying a 360 and then actually gaining some appreciation of the sport itself. most irl games are still boring as s*** though.

I remember in 03 you could curve the ball past the keeper pro as.

october..... i was hoping it would be out close to the start of the EPL season.
thats in august FYI.

i'll be buying a ps3 or an 360 not sure which yet for when this game comes out.

and yes the old way of free kicks was awesome with the little ball on the screen to adjust the curve.

I wouldn't go near the world cup version.

It's just a cut down version of your yearly titles. Why would you settle for 32 teams when you can access every major league on the planet, including international teams as well.

there would actually be near 200 teams in the world cup version.......

I'm looking forward to Fifa 11 as they plan to have the dynasty mode thing in place were you play as one player on a team in a 22 player game, would be interesting way to play a sports game. Hopefully it wont be like playing 10 player games with yanks in NBA Live '09, ball hog city. Had 6 points & 31 assists once.

Just a quick read on the Fifa 10 page though, if you have 2 PS3's you can have a 16 player mutlilink game, 8 per system, thats pretty cool :)
