The next episodic update to Lionhead's successful sequel, Fable 2 for Xbox 360 will be seeing its second downloadable content pack arriving in May. According to the press release, you'll be given an option to save Albion by restoring "colour and balance" to the world or to let it "fall by the wayside".
The fantastical new quests in "See the Future" will bring players face-to-face with new characters, creatures, events and legendary artefacts, including:
  • Murgo: Having first met him during the childhood sequence of "Fable II," Murgo returns to Bowerstone Market to bring an amazing array of new wares, including potions that can transform canine companions into new breeds.
  • The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest: Holding a disturbing secret, the small model village inside it was once a real town in Albion. The people who once inhabited it are now ghosts condemned to endless torment until the shadowy threat that cursed them is defeated.
  • The Cursed Knight Quest: Forever banished to a land beyond the dead, the Cursed Knight awaits a hero who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate.
  • The Colosseum: The Colosseum puts even the Crucible to shame. Only the greatest heroes have triumphed here. Players' abilities will be put to the test to prove themselves in combat once and for all, to win the ultimate in prizes.
You'll also be able to earn unique new items not found in the main game and an all-new expression.

No actual date or MS point price has been announced for the new content yet, so stay tuned.

Wow, they have really run out of ideas haven't they.

Fable 2 started great, but ended up in the can.

There were 6 types of monsters to fight throughout the 30-hour-long game.. ranged combat was horrendous, melee+magic build was easy mode.. voice acting was below average.. don't even THINK about trying to fight a banshee in co-op..

Spoiler:

There wasn't even a big boss fight I mean seriously. The game's supposed to bring the tension up to a big climax, not get to the expected exciting bit and say "HEY, uh, game's over now press this button to defeat the final boss. Plus i'll give you three absolutely s*** rewards"

Ending 1: You get nothing. NO, something actually gets TAKEN AWAY from you. You get minus nothing.
Ending 2: You get to "keep" you dog. That's about it.
Ending 3: As if the real estate market wasn't easy enough to conquer, this choice is complete bulls***.

I guess I just had high expectations with fable 1 being such an enjoyable game and moleneux talking it up so much.

just wow. fable 2 was a joke bcuz its way to easy. fable 1 was more fun than fable 2... i mean u people may find fable 2 fun. i mean yah sure fable 2 is fun in a way. knothole island was a big rip-off a big waste of my 800 microsoft points.. i wouldn't be surprised if this new addon will end up another big rip-off just bcuz they can't come up with a better ideas. sigh they really lost there touch. i guess thats how it goes.. if they can't outdo there first game why bother making a sequel.
