Mirror's Edge is now available for purchase on the PC platform, in stores across Australia according to a Electronic Arts. they've also confirmed all-new DLC in the form of new maps for the Time Trial mode will be available for download for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 January 29th, further extending the life of the game.

For PC gamers who haven't bothered to pay attention until today, Mirror's Edge is a unique First-Person Adventure game from DICE and EA set in a bleak white-washed future where you play as Faith, a courier of sorts who uses the rooftops to remain free of the city's fascist ways. She gets in over her head though and must use her athletic skills to make things right.

You can check out our full review of the game here, while all available media can be found on the AusGamers Mirror's Edge game page.

As is your right. :)

On top of his reviews being great entertainment, I've found myself agreeing with him each time he's reviewed a game I've played. So in the case of Mirror's Edge, I'll wait a few years or for it to go on sale.

yahtzee doesn't really review games, he more critiques them ?

Most reviews are more like advertisements, typically just rephrasing and expanding on the press release then giving it a number between 80 to 100. Yahtzee assumes you have heard of the game and its promises however so he tells you where it comes up short, and highlights any other flaws that are likely to annoy. Doing so with a sharp sense of wit that makes his reviews enjoyable as well as informative.

This is quickly turning into a Yahtzee fan thread and i'm only going to add to this to say most of his points he makes during his videos are pretty spot on for me. However I thought Mirror's Edge was a pretty fun game all things considered. It was pretty short and if you were so inclined you could finish it in a day or 2, Although there are some very hard parts toward the end that had me very angry (my 1st run was a "no guns" run, which IMO is the way to go) as it was rather unforgiving.

Mabye if they make another they should at least double the length and put in multiple paths to take. Or better yet give it a Spider-Man 2 sorta thing where you can either run around the city free running or do the story missions

I had the freezing problem, was about to try disabling PhysX and see if that was the problem but then I saw that there is already a patch out that addresses freezing problems when PhysX is enabled, so downloading that now and we'll see how it goes!

You should see the bitchfits people are having over the copy protection in this game. Apparently there is some kind of in-game copy protection where cracked copies start running in slomo and you cant jump, saw a thread where somone was asking about an issue they were having in game which obviously turned out to show they pirated, link to torrent site comments = laffo.

Are you sure? it wasn't listed anywhere on Steam for me. All I found was a trailer.
