That's right. Apparently Funcom accidentally revealed EA and Harmonix are hard at work on the inevitable sequel to their smash-hit, never-been-seen-in-Australia, Rock Band. The revealing statement came when Funcom announced Turbonegro would be a part of the official Age of Conan soundtrack and listed the punk band's other game work as "Rock Band 2". EA o/s have obviously gone into damage control, meanwhile we're yet to even see a press release mentioning the eventual existence of the first Rock Band on Australian shores. We'll keep you posted if anything else comes of this (or if EA decide to announce RB1 for Oz). |

Founding member Thomas Seltzer once said, "A turbonegro is a large, well-equipped, armed black male in a fast car, out for vengeance. We are his prophets.wow |

O well, we've waited this long for Rock Band, might as well wait until Rock Band 2, suck it EA if only that would teach you to wait so long to release it here. Unfortunately people will buy RB 1 anyway and it wont make a difference waaaa :(

heh, Guitar Hero World FAIL more like it!
Hopefully RB2 is backwards compatible with all the RB DLC and the RB peripherals, if thats the case, then I welcome my Rock Band 2 overlord. |

And still get shafted too :) US Rock Band Bundle (Game, 1 guitar, drums and mic) $160 US OR $170 AU OR £81 ( http://www.ebgames.com ) UK Rock Band Bundle (Game, 1 guitar, drums and mic) $350 US OR $370 AU OR £180 ( http://www.game.co.uk ) According to EA, the price difference is due to Taxes (VAT) and Shipping (China is further away...). VAT may add on an extra £8 or so... so they must be shipping them one at a time on chartered jets or something :P On our shore, Harvey Norman is taking pre-orders with no real release date with the price $120 for the game and $200 for the instruments. God only knows where they got prices for that from. If you're interested, Canned Geek did a write up on importing rockband http://www.cannedgeek.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=221 |

I don't understand why Harvey Norman are pricing the instruments separate from the game when they all come in one package.
