http://www.ausgamers.com/images/features/TN_Technician.jpgActivision have dated the promised console release for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars as May 28th on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Nerve Software, the Dallas-based independent developer responsible for Return to Castle Wolfenstein Multiplayer for the PC, Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War for Xbox and DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil for the PC and Xbox, created the Xbox 360 version of the game with Activision’s Underground developer, handling PLAYSTATION 3 duties.
A new intro cinematic will accompany the console release and you can take a look at that one right here on AusGamers, but we think the aptly named "Action Satisfaction" trailer offers a better view of the game. Check out our past review of the PC version for a more in-depth idea on what to expect.

Are they making some sort of single player for the console versions?

I really can't see this being very popular on the consoles considering how poorly it has done on the PC.

I guess there is single player against/with bots on the maps, doubt they would make a whole new single player story for a mp game?

Be interesting to see how it goes by comparison against the PC version

Based on a few previews, there's nothing new in terms of gameplay. It's still mutliplayer only, with bots available.

Will be interesting to see how it fares.

for anything to work on the console it needs a fairly solid hype machine behind it. it will be a tough job tearing people away from cod4, which is a real shame cause i really, really, want to play this A LOT.

i love ET, and i love Q2.
