A new patch for Company of Heroes has been released, updating from the previous version to 1.70. You can grab the patch right here from AusGamers. There's some new visual stuff for DirectX 10 and the following gameplay changes:

- Axis Pak38 50mm accuracy modifiers vs infantry target types have been reduced.
- Allied M1 57mm AT gun accuracy modifiers vs infantry target types have been reduced.
- Certain Infantry Antitank weapons (bazookas, panzerschrecks, recoilless rifles) accuracy modifiers vs infantry target types have been reduced.
- Attack ground functionality was removed from the 234 Armored Car to fix issues enabling it to fire through shot-blocking objects.
- Tank and armoured car weapon types can no longer one-shot kill 234/Puma Armoured car and M8 Armoured Cars.

they are all great balance changes. the remainder of the patch is enahanced graphics for dx10 users (meaning you must have both a dx10 card and vista to benefit).

In order to use DX10 you need to download the newest 8800 driver which were released yesturday, will post some screenies if people are intrested on what the dx10 stuff looks like soonish.

no you will need to do it progressively. there is a great thread in gamereplays forums about how to do this most efficiently or just check relic forums.
