Just like the game, our review comes to you a bit late, but here nonetheless. If you're a Wii owner and have been wondering whether or not to pick this up, AusGamers has the answer for you right here. For anyone who played the original games and is still undecided on a Wii purchase, this, in the face of other forthcoming hits, could be the first real reason to have a solid look at the console - between now and the end of the year the Wii has some stellar titles on offer, and it really all begins with Super Paper Mario, so head on into our review to see what we thought of the game.

I found Super Paper Mario to be very meh. I took it back and picked up Resident Evil 4 instead. Havn't looked back.

Its probably the best game ive played on the Wii, I like it better than zelda, but mainly becuase im a bigger mario fan and like the cartoony graphics.

The same rating as Halo 3 Steve? I don't know about that..

However you sure did convince me that this game is a good spend.

Great review as always!

Played through the first few levels of the game so far, quite enjoying it, this is the first Paper Mario game I've played. Only downside I've found so far to the game was the ridiculously long intro that you couldn't skip past.

Why wouldnt it be the same as halo3? Why is halo 3 on such a pedastal, Ive only played halo 1, it was ok, nothing outstanding.

Yep...nothing special in my opinion (just finished chapter 3).

The RE4 Wii port kills this game.

Different types of games really, I can't rate Super Paper Mario lower than Halo 3 simply because it's not an FPS - rating games like this you have to think of where it stands in its genre, how it stacks up on the console overall and then think about where it stands among games overall

Yeah well said however you could also rate the enjoyment factor. You can enjoy a game more than another, doesn't matter what genre it is, it's what you like/enjoy more.

They're completely different games
Sure, but at the end of the day they get an overall score.

...and RE4 whips Super Paper Mario in the graphics, music, re-playability and general fun departments. Just because it's an RPG doesn't make it untouchable?
