EA and Dice have finally approved the Battlefield 2142 beta for use in Australia. If you were able to get a key you can now nab the beta and play online; there are local servers up on GameArena and Internode.

I have a couple of spare keys; the three funniest Battlefield 2142 screenshot photoshops will each score one. Post your efforts in this thread.

What's it actually testing as I haven't seen any way to make a report on obvious bugs etc

Well, it looks as though the Beta is now over. That was the most frustrating thing ever. It has lots of bugs still and yet they have now pulled the beta in prep for the demo launch which is slated for the 7th of October.

Humf, It'll be interesting to see how the demo goes. / rolls eyes
