Comic-Con just took place in the US, and Activision released some new goodies from their upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance to offer a peek. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 screenshots are up for grabs, as well as a high def trailer.

I'm not big on games like this but I saw this at the Activision pre-E3 press conference and I have to say it looked pretty cool (I actually think it was running on a PS3 as well). Being able to mash with all the Marvel guys I reckon could be pretty fun cooperatively.

These types of games can be fun with 2 or more friends playing as well. The only part that annoys me (after playing the D&D and the xbox marvel ones) is that the screen gets really busy with all the action and the view can't zoom out too much constraining your characters to a fairly small space.

Is this like Super Smash Brothers/fighting game but with marvel heros?

I think it is more like Zombies Ate My Neighbours.

It's just x-men legends with more characters. Some of the new environments did look kind of cool. There was an underwater one and some level with galactus wandering around destroying a city, but the co-op play is really the only reason to play these action rpgs imo.
