Rick from the Hall of Mirrors team lets us know that this modification for Max Payne 2 has been released. The idea for the mod was born in Brisbane and is another good showcase of Australian talent:

This Max Payne 2 modification is loosely based on the movie "Equilibrium" with the main focus of the work being based upon implementing a new combat system similar to the "gun kata" seen in some of the action scenes of the movie. The "Gun Kata" allows the player to take on several adversaries at the same time with dual weapons and gun them down in unison, much like what we see in the action movies of today where the hero wields dual handguns and shoots at different targets with each hand.

My first reaction when I read this was "OMG! Gun Kata! f*** yeah!", then my second reaction was depression as I realised I don't have a copy of Max Payne 2 or a working PC good enough to play it on :(

I still have max payne 2 installed, I'll write you a letter Khel.
