Game Planet in New Zealand have been holding a RA3 Comp for a while now, and things seem to be moving along.

There are a few Aussie teams in the comp that are doing well, with e|, xD, and ABOM all entrents. And e| the current joint leaders of the competition.

I find it intresting that I couldn't find any coverage on this from either Challenge NZ or Challenge AU.

Was specing one of those clan wars on there server the other week. Pings reached 500 and averaged out at about 120 odd, and you all now how good my cable is.

I didn't know how they did it...(rail)...and even hit someone with the LG when you could perform a full 360 rotation and catch up to your own lightning, thats how crap the lag was...bzzzzzzttt...

Aaagh which leads me to...Will QGL ever host online comps? ps: who cares if people whinge about their pings, at least it wont be as bad as in new zealand!

Maybe those sheep rootin hobos could come play us on our servers =)

actually wog boy. they get great pings to here. well on there adsl anyway.

they must have like uber dsl or sutn cause they get 80 odd pings.

and umm when i was with powerup. i got like high 100s low 200's ping wise to nz.

but with optus i get 300 pings to optus ervers :]
