Jim has updated AusGamers Hosting with a little more information on the new settings that all hosted sites are subjected to with their cgi scripts:

We've imposed limits on cgi scripts on our hosting server because of the load spikes that we keep seeing. These limits are on cpu time, memory allocated, and actual number of processes per user.
CPU time is limited to 5 seconds per process, memory is limited to 9000000 bytes per process, and the number of simultaneous processes per user is limited to 2.

If your cgi script/program exceeds these limits, it is killed off by the server automatically. Depending on how your script/program is written, this may result in a 500 response - Internal Server Error.

We've tested these new settings with new installs of UBB and Newspro and they work fine. If your previously working script now fails, chances are it's too greedy on system resources.

Sounds hella fair to me, and the server has been running heaps better also.

I believe the QGL guys are working on upgrading the servers qgl1 and qgl2 run on, but im sure your donations will be gratefully accepted.
