AusGamers is now running a Quake2 CTF server at games03.qgl.org.
UPDATE: Here is the custom map pack I mentioned earlier.

In other server-related news (which I don't think Term posted?), AusGamers has replaced the Quake3 CTF server with a Quake3 Fortress server, running at games03.qgl.org:27970.

To finish up, a brief word on future developments: firstly, the SA Counter-Strike server looks set to become an official AusGamers server soon. To differentiate the service, friendly-fire will be turned on. This should prove a boon for players keen to practice for CPL-Pacific.

Secondly, it looks like we'll be getting a Day of Defeat server up and happening soon, so stay tuned for that.

(For those wondering what happened to the 'we cant run any more servers' standard answer, we're now privy to an extra server which has been tested with Team Arena. This has proven successful; Quake2 CTF and Day Of Defeat will likely fill up the resources of the new machine)

installed Q2 to play ctf and i just got all these didn't have this and that errors

Install Quake2

Install a fullctf.exe

install q2-320.x86.exe

install lfire maps, all star maps and strogg ctf maps

i'm sure nats will put up the old pupmappack back up at www.quake.powerup.com.au if we ask nicely
