does anyone know how i can run old dos programs under windows xp?

compatiblity mode. turn all the extra memory settings and shti like that on.

look on that. and it does wonders. and really strong point on xp

incase ur wondering, make a shortcut to the program, rite click on the shortcut and go properties.
go through the tabs till u find somthign wit 'run in compatiblity mode' select dos, or wuteva,

and keep looking at all the other s*** like extended memory, etc etc.

Privateer and righteous fire will not run under windows XP :(

i've tried all that, and it will run old win progs, but not things like war2 etc

wut program u trying to run?

warcraft 2, liero, lemmings (don't laugh for my little brother)

i remember having warcraft2 runnign not to long ago.

but i juz played around wit all the s*** on those tabs.
