Except of course if that other happens to be a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti - which is still the most powerful GPU on the market. With the full 2019 RTX line-up now here, following on from the recent one-two additions that were the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER - the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER story is a little more straightforward. Still impressive and still very much high-end. In that it's basically an RTX 2080, but better. And for the same cost. With an across the board boost in specs it takes an already fantastic card and gives it a bit of a polish, which is reflected in the, err, reflective surface of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER - Founders Edition. A snippet from our review. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER offers up improved specs - essentially maxing out the potential of the Turing-based TU104 chip. Which also forms the basis of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER – the card that we’ll be referencing in our benchmark comparisons later on; as it most closely resembles the vanilla RTX 2080 that launched last year.
