Our ever-reliable Adam "Griz" Mathew was invited out to Ubisoft in Sydney this week to be among the first to get in-depth time with Ubisoft Montreal's surprise standalone Q1 2019 release, Far Cry New Dawn. He walked away with some stories to tell. He also walked away with 30-minutes of his own gameplay capture, which we've conveniently embedded in the feature linked below. But first, here's a snippet from his hands-on shenanigans: Now that a nuclear winter has been weathered, the sun has come back and the plants have reasserted themselves in what David Attenborough would call a “super bloom” (a real-life phenomenon, apparently). Hope's survivors began farming the land again, rebuilding and rethinking their approach to civilisation during a peaceful period of around ten years. Unfortunately, this abundance of peace, love and delicious homegrown mungbeans has attracted The Highwaymen, a group of petrol-headed pricks whose main import is other people's stuff and their chief export is ultra-violence.Click here for our Far Cry New Dawn hands-on feature and video. And check out the new story trailer released today, embedded below. |
