RDR2 left me conflicted, it was brilliantly written, easily the best writing I've ever seen in a game, but the gameplay was very average. It was a clunky, frustrating mess; its like they couldn't decide if they wanted to make an action/adventure type story driven game, or an open world cowboy sim, and they ended up somewhere in the middle and achieved neither. Its a 10/10 story trapped in a 6/10 game |
