Hey,

Can anyone recommend some good DJ mixes that can be downloaded, preferably upbeat house/progressive style for jogging/gym.

I used to download (to save to my phone for offline play and usb for the car) some stuff from Soundcloud but it looks like you can't do that anymore?

I use Spotify for my music but it does lack DJ mixes and the like.

Cheers

Ahhh mixcloud, totally forgot about that one, can you actually download the file? Any suggestions on actual mixes/dj's. I'm so far out of the loop these days :(

Strex still doing the rounds huh, I'll have a look, cheers.

Whether or not you can download a set from SoundCloud depends on if the uploader has made it available for download, so it depends on each set that is on there. You can't download sets from Mixcloud.

I have my own website where I post Australian house and techno DJ sets, including progressive house. Look for the ones with the little download icon on the the SoundCloud player:

Aussie progressive house and trance legend Jaytech uploads sets regularly, and most of them are available for download. They might be the style you are looking for:

i use this handy tool to rip streams from anywhere (mixcloud/utube/facey) works a treat.

outputs to lots of formats.

only half likely to be spyware:

The are some of mine from the, yikes, past 8 years: https://soundcloud.com/kbit-music/sets/va-the-mixes

All downloadable.. but fair warning it's mostly deep house and more chill stuff... though it comes from a prog house background

theres a few facey groups that play good dj sets, boiler room, be-at tv, etc.

2manydjs/soulwax is some of the best gear around (the ages old stuff)

well worth chasing up all 30 odd of them and enjoying.

Somebody made a great 2 hours continuous mix of Deadmau5 which was titled something like "music to work to" and posted it on Youtube. There is a way of downloading music from Youtube so thats an option I guess. Although, I think that youtube post has been deleted. It's really good, shame it got nuked.
