Over the weekend, while I was at the snow, a mate introduced me to "The XX", who are a pommy indie alternative band. I felt kind of sad that I had not heard of them before because they are absolutely amazing. Turns out they are pretty big anyway, but thats not the point.

What music/artists do you listen to that you think are worthy of more attention?

I love this aussie rapper atm, I thought he was too good to be aussie at first.

I wouldn't usually see this because it is from xfactor, but I like it.

They were the guests DJs on RAGE last weekend and of what I saw only put on electronic stuff like Delerium - Silence, Olive - You're Not Alone and Ann Lee - Two Times.

My mum teaches Persian and Iraqi asylum seekers literacy and got me to get some music for a party they're having:



The Iranians refer to themselves as Persians because they all hate Assad's regime and Iran was called Persia before they took over from the Shah in the '70s.

I wouldn't usually see this because it is from xfactor, but I like it.

Surprisingly not many people I talk to have heard of this guy, and if they have, they're unaware he was the lead rapper from House of Pain. Also clip features Jesse Pinkman :P
