id say the international gaming commitee, sitting in their crystal cavern with a big golden table, has something against australians with us never gettin any oceanic servers, games with half the stuff censored and over priced products.

Nah, seriously, i'm curious if they have more expansions for WoW planned. They probably are going to brush that question off with no real reply, mainly I want to know if they still have plans to do the Emerald Nightmare cos I just got done reading the Stormrage novel about Malfurion Stormrage's fight in the Emerald Nightmare and it was epic!

Also, give them kudos for upping the difficulty of Cataclysm and bringing some strategy and finesse back into pve, after the faceroll that Wrath became I'm avidly looking forward to it. Make sure they don't cave to pressure from people crying about it being too hard, keep it challenging!

Also, get them to give me a job. I'll work cheap.

Actually scrap that; the price would have been minimal because they already lost most of their soul a while ago. Since WoW they've been going downhill and assuming that all gamers are knobs that still live with their parents at age 30 and are more than willing to pay huge amounts for restricted nothingness (Starcraft 2 cut into 3 pieces, SC2 and D2 have no LAN, etc). Yet another company that I will boycott. I think I'm left with Valve and indie games now...oh well.

Creepy and Cos, at least my question, and a couple other psoters about servers being hosted here, isn't inflammatory or retarded. It is a legitimate question, and why should we stop asking them just cause they said they're thinking about it last time we did? Updates are always needed.

In all seriousness though, if you can find a way to slide in a question about what it actually takes to get hired by blizzard, I'm geuinely interested :) I'd imagine they have pretty high standards, and they can afford to, I'm just wondering what sort of things they look for, are they more interested in people with a lot of experience and impressive resumes, or people who've shown a bit of initiative and maybe built a small game under their own steam. What sort of things do they value and look for, and where do Blizzard people in general come from, like what background?

Khel - submit your resume! They aren't going to know about you, if you don't throw your hat into the ring. Create a profile at their careers section and send it in.

Their employee benefits are excellent. The quality of working life varies though, depending on which dept you're part of. Also, Irvine's campus is supposedly better than the Texas facility. But that'd probably be due more to the Development vs Logistics/Support breakup.
