Topic: BP Spill got worse?

I'm not really that into conspiracies (faceman might get a chub) but was just seeing what the BP Spill is up to these days and its looking pretty bleak, apparently!

Theres this which shows oil leaking through cracks in the seafloor:

http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2010/06/13/bp-gulf-oil-spill-seafloor-oil-gas-leak-videos-photos/

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37582386#37582386

Then theres all these crazy theories about how BP was trying to tap a super-well. And drilled into a Batholith as they are seeing plutons surfacing with the oil and other gasses. Apparently a batholith is like a super magma-chamber/volcano which is now shifting the crust under the gulf. WTF?

Ill admit Alex Jones is probably not the most credible source but looking at what is happening, it's seems like a possiblity.

http://www.manticoregroup.com/radio/2010/06jun/acgriffith2010.mp3

Some other geezer talking about it. Please don't shoot me down with conspiracy crap, I'm just as uneducated as anyone else.

Anything else out there?? It is interesting but then it seems you can find "experts" that will agree with most crackpot theories out there.

The rig developed a fault from a human error and the decision was made by BP, not the people on the rig, to continue pumping when they should have stopped. That lead to the error.

The blame could also be layed at Greenys who didnt want drilling close to the Shores so the Oil Well had to go out in very deep water increasing the possibility of an accident.

That's been talked about for over a week (or maybe 2 now) with the Russians saying they did it 5 times around the 60s/70s.

They were digging a hole to afghanistan to check for resources. It inadvertently caused a sinkhole in guatemala, the BP oil spill, and gary coleman's death.

Richard C Hoagland gave an interview on Coast to Coast a couple of days ago, it was uploaded to you tube a few hours ago. Following the vids I will post a couple of comments he has made on his Facebook Page I'd recommend visiting his page as there is a whole heap of discussion going on there following what he talked about on Coast to Coast.

Richard is warning of a gas explosion that may occur in weeks or months resulting in a massive tsunami travelling at 400-600 MPH that would sink all vessels for miles and drive the oil, toxic dispersants and gases inland within minutes. Read a synopsis and commentary at Steve Quale's site

Imagine if someone dropped a match on it.. Fire tsunamis!!

This is truly f***ed up.

And chances are the eco system will never recover from this event.

The world is dying people, cyclones, twisters, hurricanes, floods, landslides, volcanoes going off everywhere.

Asif, drive by shootings, gun laws in america and war in iraq etc etc wasn't enough to worry about.

Really makes you think, how much longer can we last here?? until we have used up every natural resource.

Thanks to wastage etc, we have 6 x the food to population and 1/3 of the people on earth are in poverty. if not more.

Surely, there must be someway they could still make use of the "pure pure pure oil" thats in all the water?

Dude, there is s*** going on all over the place... that would never usually happen in those "climates" or regions etc.

You cannot deny that :)

There are 5 earthquakes a week it seems, a tsunami warning every 48 hours and heaps of people just dying all over the place due to the planet!

f***ing LOL, this reminded me so much of Final Fantasy VII. Total trip down memory lane...

"AMG the planet is dying!"
"Hurr hurr let's suck this energy source out of the planet, killing it as we do so"
"Aww no, The planet is using self defence mechanisms against us!"

haha, whoops!

http://www.smh.com.au/world/bp-chief-finds-time-for-yacht-race-20100620-yokp.html

In what one environmentalist has described as "yet another public relations disaster" for embattled energy giant BP, CEO Tony Hayward has taken time off to attend a glitzy yacht race around England's Isle of Wight.

Spokeswoman Sheila Williams said Hayward took a break from overseeing BP efforts to stem the undersea gusher in Gulf of Mexico so he could watch his boat "Bob" participate in the J P Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race on Saturday. The 16-metre yacht was made by the Annapolis, Maryland-based boatbuilder Farr Yacht Design.

So how long will this thing run if they can't cap it? Sounds like everything around that area is gonna be f***ed bigtime.

The last very similar spill in the gulf of mexico (which they have used the same techniques which failed then) ran for 9 months until they stopped it.

They said in August when the two relief wells are completed it will stop the flow of oil, but the biggest problem is the cleaning up of the oil and the unknown amount of damage it'll have in the future. It's so hard for them to think of how they are going to do it because it's never been on a scale this large before.
The leak should be stopped in August but this will be a problem for possibly generations.

this will be a problem for possibly generations of Americans.

Fixed for actuality. Although it looks like Kevin Costner is making money out of it;

It's interesting to compare australia's response to a leaking oil well and the American one. Fortunately ours was far enough away from Sydney for it to barely rate a mention in the news. Did they actually cap that yet? Last I heard it had been spewing oil in to the ocean for about 3 months or something. Never followed up to see what happened.

interesting to contrast the expectations of the American public with this in and say Bhopal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhopal_disaster and also this article about spills in the Niger Delta http://www.theage.com.au/world/large-oil-spills-are-old-news-in-the-niger-delta-20100617-yjnf.html

As far as I know, Alex Jones hasnt contirbuted a single piece of useful information to anything, anywhere, ever.

If he is the only person saying this then I would be ignoring him.

Yeah i've boycotted BP for petrol, ciggas, iced coffies. They are the only local outlet for Krispy Kremes though. So I might step foot on their turf 2-3 times a year at most.
