Valve asked the TF2 community to create its own items for submission, evaluation and possible congratulation, if theirs was lucky enough to be approved for addition to the game. An update has been added to Steam for TF2, which will now include any of these that were given a green tick by the lads at Valve. In exchange for your silence, we are now accepting submissions for fan-designed TF2 items and avatars, immortalizing you in the Team Fortress 2 pantheon forever while keeping our jobs safe. Pending approval, your item will get added to your backpack, and cycled into the random item drops in-gameYou can learn more about this community-loving undertaking right here. Yeah, I love this. Perfect business model - your community does stuff for free and you add value to the game for f*** all investment. Been there, done it myself as a scripter and modder at times. |

I already have the brain slug model on my TF2. Funny s***. Only way they could improve it, is if they rerecorded a set of heavy sounds that make him sound like Hermes when he had his on. Just totally flat and emotionless.
