I got myself an Xbox360 for the LCD TV I got from the catchoftheday special. Being my first console since a Sega Master System II with light gun ( which still works :D ) I have no idea of which games are worthy for co-op. I've had a look at that website co-optimus but thought peoples experiences would be worth more than some website listing options.
I'm fairly decent on console games, GF is horrible. Last night she killed 3 things in Halo 2 co-op and all of those were me. So I'm looking for suggestions of games she can play that don't require the greatest of co-ordination. :P Lego Batman is the only one we're having luck with atm, so I'm not against just getting more of the lego X games. More would be welcome though. |

The lego games are pretty much the best nub friendly games. Give her some more practice though and she will get better with halo... if a 12 year old boy can play a girl can too... right.

Yeah, Castle Crashers for sure, awesome fun co-op.
Gears of War 2 is great co-op, but sounds like it might not be something your GF would be much good at. You could try something like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, its co-op, and its less complicated than something like Halo or Gears of War, its just running around as your favourite marvel superhero and beating s*** up from a diablo-ish top down point of view. I haven't played the second one, but I played the first one co-op a bit and it was heaps of fun. And theres always stuff like Rock Band if you want to play with some plastic instruments, don't knock it till you try it, it can be pretty fun when you've got a couple of people playing together :P |

Khel: Rockband is on the investment list :P Being an ex-death metal drummer I want to get one of the 3rd party drumkits so I can bash away on the faster stuff without worrying about the plastic cracking.
I'll check out castle crashers tonight. edit: typo last edited by pARODY at 21:37:57 17/Mar/10 |

My Girlfriend only plays the new Mario with me lol and even then she spends half of it pushing me off the cliffs. Perfect Dark XBLA version is awesome to play co-op also pretty easy since it's a port from the N64 version. |

Tekken 6. It's not coop with your partner and more like beat up your partner. So yeah i enjoy beating up my wife (in the game). |

mate theres nothing hey, i've been keeping my eyes out for ages for something to play with the mrs but your limited to
- gears of war - army of 2 - halo - borderlands - Rainbow6 - *hero tried to play halo3 - its easy enough but i forgot how much grief noobs have with the aiming at first and you take this + split screen even on a big tv and there's a painful learning curve. Rainbow 6 and gears of war same boat. Awesome to play with someone familiar with controller... not so much for jumping straight into guitar hero is good for a while.. borderlands is fantastic co-op on pc cant comment on xbox tho i wouldnt expect it to be bad. Slightly easier than halo/gow imo yet to try army of 2 but see first gripe.. so yea still looking but at the moment TF2 is still winrar for me and girlie =/ |
