I thought id get my car a cut and polish for its birthday. Surely someone here knows wheres good and cheap!

Probably end up like my parents seca, try to polish it and the protective coat has been obliterated by the sun so you end up polishing the paint off. Their bonnet is so far gone it'd have to be resprayed to bring it back.

do you have access to a buffer? just get the kitten red bottle, if not, polyglaze is okay if you're doing it by hand. cheap stuff...

yeah the audi, apparently it's a common problem for the a3/mk5 golf platform. anyway doesn't matter, they're gonna put a revised rack in and in the meantime it drives fine, it just makes a funny noise.
