From the AusGamers Content team and the rest of the cool cats and bosses at Mammoth Media, we'd like to wish everyone well in their Festivus For the Rest of Us festivities (or Christmas, if that's your bag).

It's been an amazing year, and we seriously couldn't do it without everyone's support here. AusGamers has grown and grown in the last three years from a file-hosting and LAN community site to an editorial and gaming news force to be reckoned with. 2010 is in our sites (pun intended) and we don't plan on slowing down. So stick around and continue to throw your support and opinion around these traps, because it's what we love to see.

So please have a safe break, and check back here over the holiday because we'll still be posting stuff periodically, and get stuck into those games!

One love - Team AusGamers x

Make sure you check out the AusGamers Xmas card - we sent out a bunch of these to the various companies like game publishers that we partner with for our various shenanigans: http://www.ausgamers.com/features/read/2830677

What actually was Ausgamers game of the year? Has it been posted and I missed it or are we all conceding that Fallout 3 is GotY?

Got my Grolsch swing tops chilling in the fridge ready to be inhaled tomorrow, seafood ready to barbie and cheese and cured meats ready to be nibbled. Should be good.

read that other thread about online video sites

AusGamers make and host their own streaming video stuff, so there won't be a youtube channel, however that's not to say they won't work on a way of doing it with their own videos

Cheers for the great site guys, always packed with good stuff.

3 days off oh yeah, might finish up Batman AA, then pick up Torchlight cheap off Steam.

Have a good one all

My nephew just came around to grab his present because I won't be seeing them tomorrow. He wanted to open the present straight away and the look on his face when he saw the size of the box was priceless. I got him this awesome radio controlled tank which is close to 22" long. I would have been over the moon getting that when I was young.

Yeah, anytime they announce a new video on their site the first thing I do is look it up on youtube, it's just always faster

I wonder if anyone in the real world celebrated Festivus, like actually stuck up an aluminum pole in their lounge room.

If I remember next year, I think I'll place aluminum poles all over the outside of my house instead of the usual "lights everywhere it's so pretty" decorations.
