I'm not talking zoolander style. In the city, every muppet turns left, into the next lane. Even got beeped the other day. FFS, its not that hard.

This happening on Dual-Lane roundabouts really s***s me off. If you are on the Inside lane of the roundabout, stay in your f***ing lane when you're exiting the roundabout.

Yeh outer lane cuts in HEAPS, massively annoying. I think more often the inner lane cuts out into the second lane. I never use my horn, but this...this is when I hold down and I don't let that baby go until I've made eye contact. |

One of my pet hates too. I typically take teq's approach in these instances and risk a bump because of the other driver's fault.

Yeh driving in to the city always happens when turning down Elizabeth beside the casino, that intersection is rubbish you also get people going straight ahead from the middle lane into the right hand lane as if going on towards QUT.

Yeah, I've never understood how the f*** this is so hard to comprehend. And some f***heads have the nerve to beep you when YOU'RE the one doing the right thing. f***ing arseholes. There's generally not much I get angry about when driving but f*** ME IF THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM! If I'm in the right and a f*** stick beeps me then the gloves are off. Example was last week I was driving home and was coming up to the T-intersection turning right and was waiting for all these cars on the right of me to turn left or go straight ahead (across in front of me) and none of them decided to indicate they were turning left which was annoying so I'm waiting for them all to do what they do because I ain't pulling out in front of a bunch of cars that could be going straight ahead and hence into the side of me and this f***er behind me beeps! Bitch it was on then.. |

I haven't really experienced people not being able to turn properly, but I always get nervous driving around indro, cause there are soooo many instances on the road there that could be misinterpreted - like two lanes turning into three lanes, and a wide slip lane being used for one or two cars - it's f***ing s***, and someday they're going to have a huge accident, and it'll be because of how ambiguous the roads are. |

And some f***heads have the nerve to beep you when YOU'RE the one doing the right thing. f***ing arseholes. You think it's bad here then you have no idea what it's like in certain countries in the middle east. Before the light goes green by a couple of seconds the horns start to honk just so you know it's about to turn green so you can move your ass. You'll go deaf from all unnecessary beeping and eventually become an impatient honk-happy driver just like them. |

Dual lane roundabouts are easy as...
I don't see what the problem is! Left lane turns left or goes straight. Right lane turns right or goes straight. There is a 3 lane roundabout at Chandler near the Sleeman Complex. Now that s*** is hardcore. |

P.S. Tried looking on Youtube for a short NASCAR clip without a crash. But after a good solid 30sec I gave up and decided it was impossible. |

tequila: you weren't driving at a shopping centre on the Sunshine Coast a few days ago were you? I accidently almost cut someone off and realised what was happening before I got in his path then braked and "sorry waved" and the bevan in his late 80's Commodore turns to me shaking his head mouthing something foul.
a) I clearly made a mistake b) I did what I could to apologise c) It didn't cause a problem...he didn't even have to slow down...it only would have been a problem if I didn't realise the mistake I was making till later d) so get the f*** over it you sack of s*** e) I feel slightly better now that I have vented my anger over this issue. Thanks QGL. |

Even more amusing when the guy on the left in the OP's diagram tries to go straight ahead. So many lols. Driving a Hilux is way more fun than riding a motorcycle or bicycle in those circumstances.

I hate the c***s who don't enter a intersection when turning across traffic on a green light, and then sit there like a******s through multiple light changes because they can't get through traffic. I entered the intersection a few days ago to do this, but couldn't turn because there were too many cars backed up into the intersection. Then when it came time for the other people to go that I was blocking, the 2 cars at the front both drove up really aggressively towards me. To punish them I waggled my finger at the two elderly drivers, like this guy: http://g.imagehost.org/0372/AaronCookcom_Babu_Bhatt_Seinfeld.jpg Very slowly, to waste their time. I love wasting people's time in traffic when they get angry. Even more amusing when the guy on the left in the OP's diagram tries to go straight ahead. So many lols. That happened to me, turning from swan to moggil at taringa. Both left lanes turn left, but the guy on the left thought he was going straight, drove straight into my gf's door. Didn't make him pay, just got a new car. last edited by thermite at 14:58:45 18/Dec/09 |

It's only unclear if you don't know the rules - if you're really worried, get a bullbar
so long as you stick to the rules, justice shall prevail! you might cop a few bent panels but it's all worth it in the end. |

My pet hate is people who take forever to move off when the lights go green and only stay so for a really really really short period of time. Oh, and the new (well, not so) traffic lights on the round-a-bout at the airport intersection..... WTF? |

people who think they have wide load cars or something. You'll be driving along and the person in front is afraid to go by a truck or bus that is in the lane next to his/hers cause they think they are gunna hit it. FFS you are in a toyota echo.

The other day I had some woman wander through an intersection on a red light, which she only noticed on the second set of lights at the end of the intersection. So she stopped in the middle of the intersection and gestured angrily to the light when I started turning into her lane from the other road.
Living in an area that gets a lot of tourists and has a poorly maintained, bendy as f*** road I don't get worked up by peoples inability to drive like perfect machines. So instead of mashing at my horn and yelling at the poor woman I just laughed at her until the penny dropped and she sheepishly moved on. |

What's with the 'hook turning' in the city lately? It's mostly cabs that do it, they turn from a non turning lane and cut off the people turning who want to go to the outer lane to park/whatever.

TBH I have never encountered this and I drive 60-70 hours a week.
My BIGGEST hate is f***tards that leave massive gaps/go slow through green arrows, especially on very large intersections where missing the light holds you back 5+ minutes. When you got a green arrow and there's 10 cars behind you, don't leave a f***ing 5 second gap then chill through the yellow arrow, you just ruined it for 10 cars behind you f***head. ARGH, massive rage. |

more like why can't people drive, period.
I'm sick of the m1 being blocked because some noob was on his phone and crashed causing everyone to slow down and have a look. People speed through road works and endanger the lives of the road workers and themselves but they slow down to 40 on the highway just to look at an accident ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE f***ING HIGHWAY. People seriously need a license to breathe, screw drivers licenses, to hell with parenting licenses, people should show they have more intelligence than a lemming and if not they're taken out behind the water tower and given a bullet through the head. I bet every single one of u guys proclaiming ur hate of this issue has done it plenty of times. The times I've done it I've checked all around me thoroughly to make sure there's noone about to a) see me do it and b) collide with. yah, same as whitewolf. i'll trail just behind a truck before i blat it past it, falcons are pretty wide Dear god I hope this is sarcasm, please let this be sarcasm. |

Pet hate is people tailgating whilst on a motorbike, this results in a tap on your window at the next set of lights with an earful followed by threats of damage to your vehicle at the next set if it persists.
Never had a repeat offender :) |

Traffic lights on a round-a-bout is failsauce. On a different note: There is a round-a-bout near my house that the majority of the traffic passes through without turning. I enter it from an off street and the flowing traffic has to giveway to me, as round-a-bouts do. However for some reason people think they don't have stop or even look. I've had 4 cars so far continue onto the round-a-bout as I'm going around. I've had to stop each time in order to not get t-boned or clip them. The worst part about it is that when they do see you (I've almost stopped by this point) they slam on the brakes stopping right in front of you. SPEED UP A LITTLE YOU TARDS and it would be safer for you. |

There are times when swinging out into the second lane is ok in my book. admitted it a right hand turn but turning right on to Stanely street from Lisburn street near the Gabba.
Someone is permanently parked in the right hand lane and if you don't swing out you will get trapped. biggest pet hate in Brisbane traffic is the Stanley street on-ramp to the M1 people fail so f***ing hard there. fail 1: merge at 10km/h when there is four cars on the road. fail 2: (this fail makes me want to get out of my car and beat people who do it.) Stopping at the top of the on-ramp to get into the right hand lane when the left hand lane is clear for over a kilometer. |
