On my way to 'work' today I saw a bunch of Australia Post workers on a march. I had a look out for CHUB, but didn't spot him. I would have said hi and asked to see his knife if I had seen him.

What was the go?

man those f***in vans are sleep proof, would be awesome if you could get a powernap in on the job.

The whole floor is checkplated, the seats don't recline cause of the cargo cage behind them and the mail bags are hard as f*** when stacked up and you cant sleep on a bag of mail cause c***s put needles and snakes in post boxes (plus its a bit harsh crushing everyones mail)

This is probably what the strike is about...

I'm not part of the union.

Those bludgers can f*** themselves, I'm not forfeiting a day of pay.

I wasn't really affected today, the majority of strikers were mail centers and retail. Tomorrow is the transport strike and that's when the fail will commence.

Hah, I always catch out the old blokes sleeping in the back on empty bags.

You think the cargo barrier is fail for reclining, go in the 2 seater tutition vans. The barrier on the passenger side is like another 10cm forward, it actually puts your seat past vertical and you are getting sandwhiched like some old school posture chair.

and asked to see his knife if I had seen him.
No knife for post, got a sick $600 leatherman, functional and deadly ftw.

Seriously Aus post get paid enough for un-skilled work.

I was paid about $20 an hour 4 years ago, consider that retail get paid heaps less.

O and they are probably pissed off that people got made redundant during the last year.

Anyway, I'm not working tomorrow. But if you're part of a march in the city and I find myself there, I"ll keep an eye out.
