In the US, at least. Sony sent out word Uncharted 2: Among Thieves would release in the US this October 13, getting a slight jump on the Holiday sales period, but letting us all breathe a sigh of relief in knowing the game is officially landing this year, and not in 2010. There's currently no official Australian release date.

In case you've missed it, we've been uber excited for the PS3 exclusive ever since seeing it on display at this year's E3 where we spoke to developer NaughtyDog about the game and had an extensive hands-off demo for preview purposes.

Can't wait for this game. It'll be even better now that more of my mates have PS3s, so we'll be able to play coop. It does have coop in the story mode, yeah?
