SEGA have revealed they'll be releasing Bayonetta after the all-important Holiday shopping period, in a clear attempt to not let the new IP (intellectual property) be overshadowed by bigger, more established brands set to dominate sales at the end of the year. To this end, expect to see the game around January, 2010.

SEGA aren't the only publisher thinking along these lines, as more and more companies are looking outside the Holiday period for new release spots, especially because that time of year tends to be dominated by the likes of Activision and their Guitar Hero and Call of Duty titles (or in this year's case, Modern Warfare 2).
