i bought a new wrt310n linksys router. setup with wpa2-personal and on channel 6 i can't see it but put it on channel 2 and it works like a charm but only at 54mb/s.. i reflashed it with dd-wrt and i get the same issue.
any thoughts why i can't get faster speeds? i think it needs to be channel six but why wouldn't it work..? i unplugged all the wireless phones/ other routers / etc cheers shoddy |

I've also noticed (and I don't know if this is something to do with wireless N or just my router), but if you have a mix of wireless B or G devices, as well as some N ones, they can have trouble talking to each other. Like my PC connects to the router using N, but my 360 connects using G, and sometimes the two of them have trouble seeing each other, or the connection is really slow and crappy. If I step my PC down to using G, its fine.
