The vehicles that got through are all commercial, presumably they have a transponder/beacon thingo to allow them access. The cars that all got hit are private, trying to sneak through behind a commercial vehicle. The red light ones prevent people running red lights. I would say they would be a good idea in Australia but so many people here drive like complete wankers that anywhere with bollards would be constantly blocked by cars that got lifted off the road. |
