Yeah, I just thought of that after I bought my $1 month.

yeah, you just need to remember to flick it back to silver after the month is up otherwise you get slugged with 12months straight up.

You should be able to cancel it right after you paid for the month because they don't cut it off until the end of your paid subscription.

Yeah, I don't think it did go through. Online and on my xbox it still says I'm on silver and can find no valid payment option, despite me entering my credit card details online.

Flick it back? Last time I cancelled the only way to do it was calling Xbox Live Support? Sure it only took about 10mins or so. Why the the hell can't they allow you to do it from your account settings?
