Someone once (4-5 years ago) told me about a new show or something that was coming out about an invincible creature that evolved in lava. I can't figure out what that could be. Anyone have any ideas?

I have no idea what the movie is, but it sounds like a Balrog. Course Gandalf kills that (OMG SPOLIERS!) :P Also possible he's confusing it with Cloverfield.
