The third person view is either the guy recording of the replay (does this game have replays?) or he is using exploits as thirdperson command doesn't usually work in multiplayer because the servers have cheats turned off.

Thirdperson is a cheat? Is that a somewhat recent change? Haven't looked in ages, last time I checked 3rd person mode still worked in normal servers.

hes playing the demo, enabling cheats, setting it to third person then recording it.

Third person is not a cheat, I've done it on servers plenty of times.
