So steam has 50% off Farcry 2 today, was wondering if it's worth it? Many people play online?

I'd recommend it, I had great fun playing and you quickly learn how to clear out checkpoints so they don't really become a problem.

Can't say much but I couldn't continue on past the first mission in the game I found it that bad.

If the rest of the missions in the games are as boring as that, especially for the opening mission then I bite my thumb at you sir.

Can't keep track of Cryengine games. Was this the one where you had AIDS or malaria or some crap, and enemies could snipe you with a shotgun from 1000km away through dense foliage - except you couldn't run for more than a 10 micrometres due to your sickness?

Far Cry does not use CryEngine. It's made by Ubisoft, not Crytek.

thanks for the heads up.

farcry 2 wouldn't be worth it if it was 150% off imo. its more aids than the entire continent of africa.

now if they had 100% off it may be worth it

edit: if you enjoyed the original DarCry and are expecting something similar with better graphics etc then you will be disappointed. The only thing it has in common with Farcry is.................. ok, I am thinking, there is something.....somebody...help

Boo to the haters, it's an awesome game! That being said I probably spent most of my time making maps instead of playing the game :(
