Apparently for a Euro tour this year!

Source: http://www.fnm.com/news/

Faith No More has always stood out as some sort of unique beast; part dog, part cat--its music almost as schizophrenic as the personalities of its members. When it all worked, it worked really well, even if the chemistry was always volatile. Throughout our 17years of existence, the mental and physical energy required to sustain this creature was considerable and relentless. Though amicable enough, when we finally split, we all followed paths seemingly destined to opposite ends of the universe.

Yet during the entire 10 years that have passed since our decision to break up we've experienced constant rumors and requests from fans and promoters alike. Nevertheless, for whatever reason, none of us kept in regular touch, much less to discuss any possibilities of getting together.

What's changed is that this year, for the first time, we've all decided to sit down together and talk about it. And what we've discovered is that time has afforded us enough distance to look back on our years together through a clearer lens and made us realize that through all the hard work, the music still sounds good, and we are beginning to appreciate the fact that we might have actually done something right.

Meanwhile we find ourselves at a moment in time with zero label obligations, still young and strong enough to deliver a kickass set, with enthusiasm to not only revisit our past but possibly add something to the present. And so with this we've decided to hold our collective breaths and jump off this cliff....
BACK, GOD FORBID, INTO THE MONKEY CAGE!!!

We can only hope that the experience of playing together again will yield results erratic and unpredictable enough to live up to the legacy of FNM.
Who know where this will end or what it will bring up...only the future knows. But we are about to find out!

FAITH NO MORE are:
Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Bill Gould, Jon Hudson and Mike Patton

Mission, i doubt that very much..

These guys would still be reaping in the money from all other areas they are involved in, especially patton.

I'm sure a fair bit of money has been thrown their way, and it's about time they sort out their differences.

That's what I was thinking. And even that song isn't very good either.

fnm have plenty of great tracks imo. i can't even think of a single track that conservative mainstream listeners would call 'thier one good track'... if you see what i'm doing here. :D

i like pretty much every track on album of the year & king for a day... not to mention all the mad mr.bungle stuff. :D

I suppose Epic would be the song they are most known for? Or am I just being old.

Agree with Demon tho, They could just have a set from those two albums and it would be awesome. Throw in a few older songs and maybe some Mr Bungle stuff and it would be amazing.

Seen FNM live twice, and Mr Bungle once - it was never enough.

Damn, I hope they do a show for the Bay Area - it's their home digs. And to think that a couple of weeks ago when I bumped into the drummer Puff, and wanted to say how much I miss FNM..

I'd only ever heard Epic and then I heard Album of the Year when I started listening to the Js back in the day... and I f***ing loved it. Then I bought some of their old stuff and loved it all as well, and went out and saw them when they toured last time. They've become one of my favourite all time bands; I totally hope they come and tour here!@#

Nice. This should be good. I hope they make it out here but hope it's not another reunion like RatM did, reform to do one more tour but not release an album, that said their live shows still kicked ass. I nearly went and saw FNM when they were out here last but for some reason didn't, same deal with Soundgarden, regretted it ever since.

I saw Mr Bungle at The Arena years ago. The keyboard player wore a stocking/pantyhose stretched over his face like a bankrobber and throughout the whole show he kept dusting himself with what I can only assume was talcum powder.

Man, I have no idea how he didn't die in that thing. It was so friggin hot and he was jumping around like an idiot. One of my all time favourite gigs.

haha I_V - I was at that concert and remember the epic heat. Got there at 8pm, they didn't go on until 12am, and my new Bungle shirt stunk of cigarettes after 4-5 washes in teh washing machine.
