Namco have let us know a next-gen reinvention of their arcade action brawler, Dead to Rights, will land on PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year.

Dead to Rights: Retribution (catchy), will feature the same noir-esque presentation as the original with arcade driven gunplay and hand-to-hand street brawling. But their press release says it better than I can.

Thrusting players into a mature neo-noir crime drama as a vice-cop Jack Slate and his canine companion Shadow, the game introduces new gameplay elements that unify the 3rd-person shooting and brawling genres for a brutal and relentless new action experience.
