Hi,
I wrote this console app to import your facebook events (like qgl lans) into outlook. Office 2003 & 2007 are supported. Its part of a project im doing to make some $. Install instructions are download the zip, extract, and run fb_console.exe You'll need the dot net 3.5 framework too. Features to come will include birthdays as all day events & settings for adding reminders etc. 2003 and 2007 Contact sync is next, even though there is outsync, but I have some more features to add. Not sure how much Id trust downloading an exe off here, so feel free to run it in a VM or test machine and post your comments back. Enjoy. |

Can't you already click "export" and it will download a file for you? Or does this do a sync?

These events would be those events that people invite you to wouldn't they?

I do Facebook Events to Google Calendar. I'm not sure I see much benefit in going straight to outlook.

Thanks TiT.
be able to just put Attending events on there not just maybe events Yeah, had thought of that. It only does future events and looks for duplicats too, but ill get that in. I'm not sure I see much benefit in going straight to outlook. Well, its a start. If you use active sync or exchange, then itll sync with your phone. Im writting it as a wm app too, incase you never sync with outlook. last edited by mooby at 10:28:21 19/Feb/09 |

Fair enough, keep up the good work. This sort of functionality was exactly what I was looking for before Google implemented it for me. |

Now you can make me a program that unblocks Facebook at work because that is the only place I use outlook...
