Can someone tell me what the command is to allocate extra memory !! I am getting old and have forgotten. |

if com_zonemegs is like the old -zone command in quake it's used to allocate memory for large config scripts to load which otherwise can cause crashs.

Demon do have to write something into the batch file to allocate more memory to Quake ??? |

just to be clear i am talking about gl-quake.exe or gl-fuhquake.exe ... i can't remember the commands for the original quake.exe :P
for gl-quake it's -mem command to allocate memory to the game... i set -mem 32 for 32mbs of ram. it's commandline. if you mean q3a... you just put seta com_hunkMegs "256" in your config file... should be in q3config by default i think. |

in the command line of the pif is the path ie; "D:\games\quake.exe" then -x params preceded with minus. for mem if you got v9 or above use -winmem 32 with those -width 800 -height 600 -bpp 16 -listen -[foldername for mod]... within the quotes yah? |
