S7 was meant to be the last, but then because of the writers strike they only did half a season. I guess they feel they need to finish it properly, which is AWESOME.

Not like the freaking end of Las Vegas

Reckon. And what's with all the misinformation. It's back for an 8th season because it was picked up by ABC and there's a complete 19 episode run scheduled.

There's also murmurs of it continuing via a spin-off series, but that may have just been a miss-interpretation of the (pretty unfunny) Interns webisodes http://abc.go.com/primetime/scrubs/index?pn=scrubsinterns&clipId=165038

It's back on for you newbs! (happy? =P) also the next 2 are out now too

After the writers strike NBC canned it and ABC took over the show. The show won't end until The janitor reveals his name and Neil Flynn has full veto over what it will be. Wether season 8 will be the last or not is still in doubt just pray the janitor does not get a name :D

Wasnt a fan of Scrubs and hardly seen it then i saw Zachs movie Garden State.
Kind of got into it more now and its funny stuff.
That Janitor guy is hilarious.

scrubs is the best. it's had its ups and downs but the characters all do what they do really well.

It still has funny parts but i think it started going downhill around season 5, or maybe after it... i'll still watch it though..
