just get any insurance. if your flatty does a runner, kick the door in or something and say you got burgled. i lived with lots of randoms for 6 years, never had an issue.

Call them, diferent insurers will have diferent policies, theft is theft, so I don't see why not.

i dont like your chances of tenant's insurance. it seems a very high risk proposition and something i have never heard of.

it'd be pretty unusual for them to cover theft by someone who lives in the same domicile, doesn't matter anyway
